Chapter 66-"Lupin vs. the Coeds"
Characters- Lupin, Michi, Fujiko, Prof. Noma's Secretary, other students
Synopsis- Lupin, in pre-med, has invented a serum that has made Fujiko pretty ticked off...

Review- And thus the Todai arc comes to a close. Lupin's 'project' is kinda disturbing, but also pretty interesting.
Monkey Punch's artwork is standard 'Lupin III' stuff, which is nothing to sneeze at to begin with, but not much really stands
out as being exceptional for this story. There are some funny moments here and there, with the funniest moment being Lupin
getting a taste of his own medicine (literally). 8/10
Notes-End of the Todai arc

Chapter 67-"To Live and Die in Japan"
Characters- Lupin, Goemon, Jigen, Guzo, Ken, Ken's girlfriend, Guzo's followers, an Old Man, a girl Goemon's trying to
impress
Synopsis- Guzo's traveling around Japan, trying to establish himself as the new messiah of the young people. However,
there's something wrong with Guzo: he can't be killed!

Review- We go from college back to the criminal underworld. The story is told mostly from Guzo's point-of-view, which
makes for a pretty interesting chapter. There's not much comedy at all, but the ending will bring a smile to your face, most
likely. 9/10

Chapter 68-"First Person, Last Laughs"
Characters- Lupin, some cops, you, Fujiko, Zenigata
Synopsis- You know where Lupin's hideout is, and you're trying to inform the police!

Review- This chapter is pretty interesting, and while one might think that it might not work completely, Monkey Punch
manages to pull it off. Personally, I think that your opinion of this story, more than others, is completely in the eye of
the reader, so I'll let you form your own opinion. I liked it, though.
Notes- If I was telling Fujiko to get off the phone, I'd be a bit more polite...

Chapter 69-"Straight Flush"
Characters- Lupin, Fujiko, a professor, Rat Clan agents and leader
Synopsis- Jigen and Goemon have been captured by the Rat Clan. They want the 'Straight Flush' document. However, Lupin's
captured one of their agents...
Firsts- first appearance of the Rats since Chapter 59, 'Medal of Dishonor'

Review- "You are getting sleepy..." This one is pretty much average, but the boss's gunfights are both pretty
cool; however, Lupin's treatment of Fujiko really isn't. There';s some comedy in this one, and as I mentioned before, the
action scenes are cool. So I'll throw a 7.5/10 at this one. *snaps fingers*

Chapter 70-"The Rat Clan and the Sea"
Characters- Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, Fujiko, Rat Clan agents, old man
Synopsis- Our boys are sailing to the island of the Rat Clan with an old man as their guide.
Firsts-
Links to animated Lupin- The way Lupin and Jigen bring the old man with them resembles a part from 'Dead or Alive', but
I don't think it was intentional.
Review- Yarr, mateys! This one's pretty good, especially the surprises throughout. There's a short action scene near
the end which is pretty cool, and there's some laughs throughout. 8/10

Chapter 71-"To Old Acquaintance Being Shot"
Characters- Lupin, Kido, Jigen, Fujiko, a guy on a phone
Synopsis- Lupin's old friend, who always had a trick that turned back on the attacker, has come to visit...
Firsts-

Review- I feel the same way about my hat, too. I like this chapter not just because of the comedy, double-cross, and
surprise ending, but also because of the dual stories that are going on. They seem to have no connection at first but...eh,
you'll just have to see for yourself. The artwork is becoming more consistant gradually, which increases the overall quality
of the drawings, especially the action scenes. 9.5/10

Chapter 72-"The Kiss of Death"
Characters- Lupin, Fujiko, Jigen, Goemon, various unnamed others
Synopsis- Lupin's got Fujiko thinking that she's swallowed a capsule bomb that will detonate the instant she disobeys
him...
Firsts-

Review- Bada-bing, bada-kaboom. Another OK chapter, with Fujiko again being taken advantage of in a way I can't stand
seeing. However, she gets some payback. Jigen and Goemon do little except cause provide some jokes and explain some things
to the reader. The jokes mostly fall flat except the final one, and the way Lupin in sunglasses riding a motorcycle in the
beginning is unintentionally funny. A lot of the chapter is disturbing, like Jigen's disguise and Fujiko's mission. 7.6/10
Notes- What's the furry thing with feet that's between the panels?

Chapter 73-"The Think System"
Characters- Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, Fujiko, Zenigata, Shiba, Tosa, Kori, Buru, Teriya, Kakuta
Synopsis- Lupin has led Zenigata to his hideout so he can capture Jigen and Goemon because Lupin's organization and the
police are working to stop a student union from detonating a nuke...
Firsts- First time Lupin and Zenigata team up
Links to animated Lupin-
Review- "Make like Da Vinci." I love this one because Lupin and Zenigata never team up in the manga like they
do occasionally in the anime. And it's nice to see Jigen and Goemon using their minds instead of their weapons. And there's
some physical comedy as well as a reference to the first chapter of the series. And the way the tension builds up to 'til
the final panel is an indescrible rush. 10/10
