Firsts- First time Lupin works in an office

Review- Lupin's working in an office?! Yup. This is the first story of the "Corporate Gig" arc, as I call
it. And, in my opinion, the best story of the arc. Monkey Punch's at the top of his form as the characters move and react
in different situations, making everything look believable. Not much action here because Lupin is working behind the scenes
to "steal doughnuts and paperclips" as Jigen puts it. There is, however, quite a bit of comedy in this story, which
is always good. 8/10

Chapter 50-"Theft of a Salesman"
Characters- Lupin/Daisuke Takinokawa, Jigen, Lupin's Dalmatian, Fujiko, Sales Director, Nitto Transport President
Synopsis- Fujiko, thinking that Lupin is a perverted canine, is helping the master thief become the new sales director

Review- Ummm...OK. Not crazy about this one. The artwork, as always, is good, but the story could use some work. C'mon,
even -I- wouldn't fall for the "wireless mic on the dog" trick! Aside from Fujiko's stupidity, the plan is pretty
clever, and has some funny moments, like Takinokawa's repair job. 6/10

Chapter 51-"What a Skull Wants"
Characters- Lupin, Jigen, Mr. K, Mr. G, Fujiko, Zenigata, various cops, employees, and bystanders, the symbol of greed
Synopsis- During a jewelry heist, a sharp-dressed skeleton convinces Lupin to take more. Eventually, the skull begins
to control his life.
Firsts- First hint of Lupin's insanity
Links to animated Lupin- Fujiko played the part of the skull in the jewelry heist in the first TV series
Review- Interesting. There's a good heist, some funny moments, a few interesting twists near the end, and great artwork
as always.

Chapter 52-"The Mind is a Mansion"
Characters- Lupin, Fujiko, 2 professors, a victim of the mansion
Synopsis- Lupin can't get away from "the Mystery Mansion", he uses explosives, a map, no matter how hard he
tries, he keeps coming back to the mansion...

Review- Nice story, bad ending. I found it funny that no matter how hard he tried, Lupin kept coming back to the house.
His attempts are pretty amusing, causing some laughs from me. But the ending was...odd. It seemed that that the only way
to get out is just that, the only way. And Lupin got out in the end, but he was back to normal in the next chapter, "Always
be Selling". Any explanations? 8/10
Notes-(SPOILER) At the end, Lupin goes insane (SPOILER)

Chapter 53-"Always be Selling"
Characters- Lupin/Takinokawa, Models, Boss, employees, Zenigata
Synopsis- Zenigata's found Lupin after a commercial shoot for his company's speedboat, "The Angel"

Review- Not bad. The story has some amusing moments, like Lupin's photo shoot. But the real thing that makes this story
stand out is Lupin&'s commercial at the end. You don't often see a parody like this in the L3 series, and it's a nice
blow towards TV ads. 8/10
Notes-Lupin uses his Daisuke Takinokawa alias for the second and last time here

Chapter 54-"The Company Man"
Characters- Lupin, Jigen, Fujiko, Zenigata, Lupin's Dalmatian, the Tutso President, Kajino, Prof. Korin, Prof. Tako, Reporters,
a girl
Synopsis- Tokyo Construction has stolen Tutso's underwater cabin designs, and has hired Jigen to prevent Lupin from stealing
them back.

Review- And thus the "Corprate Gig" arc ends. It goes out pretty well, with double-crosses and disguises all
around. And the end just causes a chuckle and (in my case) a "Why didn't I see that coming?" moment. 8/10

Chapter 55-"Grand Theft Auto"
Characters- Lupin, Jigen, Fujiko, Zenigata, Bank employees, a photographer, ect.
Synopsis- Lupin and Jigen are pulling one over on Zenigata as they race AND rob a bank at the same time.
Firsts-
Links to animated Lupin- This became the first TV episode: "Is Lupin Burning?!"
Review- Vroom. This story his some amusing moments, but what really makes this story entertaing is the race itself.
Monkey Punch has captured the feeling of the race well because I could almost feel the wind go by as I was reading it (either
that or there's something wrong with my window). As for the heist itself, it gets kinda confusing, but is actually pretty
clever once you figure it out. 10/10

Chapter 56="Triple Play"
Characters- Lupin, Jigen, Fujiko, a nurse, Goemon, a guard, a fake Jigen, a fake Fujiko, Zenigata
Synopsis- Lupin's being forced to work with Fujiko for reasons he doesn't even know.
Firsts-
Links to animated Lupin- The shogi game is one of the first scenes of the pilot film.
Review- Um... this Chapter's nothing to write home about, but it has its moments, like whenever Goemon gets a chance
to get into action. The ending, along with the introductions, are pretty cool, but everything else is mostly just "eh".
7/10
Notes-Why was Zenigata introduced if he wasn't in the story?
